“Where cities, fragments, and memories map the edges” speaks to the way our personal and collective histories shape how we see the world. Cities represent the structured and familiar, fragments suggest the overlooked or broken moments, and memories act as the emotional thread weaving them together. In my work, the edges are not boundaries, but shifting borders—formed by experience, place, and time—that define how we navigate space and self.
The name Verve Street Art reflects the spirit behind my practice. Verve—meaning energy, enthusiasm, and creative vitality—was a word once used to describe my mother in her youth. In choosing it, I honor both her and the inherited spark that continues through my work. It also speaks to rhythm, movement, and a vividness I try to bring to the layered textures of place and memory.
